rRadio
Privacy policy

Your radio stays at home.

rRadio app for iPhone and Android. Last updated: 5 November 2026.

rRadio is a remote control and player for an rRadio server that you, or someone you know, runs at home. The developer of the app does not run any server for it and does not receive any data from it.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking code, and it has no account with us.

Where your data goes

Everything the app sends goes only to the rRadio server address you enter or scan when pairing:

That server belongs to whoever runs it. Its owner can see this data; the developer cannot. Pictures shown in the app (for example a podcast's cover) may be loaded from the address the server names for them, without your device key.

What stays on your phone

Your server address, device key (in the iOS Keychain or Android's app storage), sound settings and downloaded programs are kept on your phone and removed when you delete the app.

Permissions

Ratings

Now and then the app may show Apple's or Google's own rating prompt. It is handled by the App Store or Google Play; the app does not see whether or how you rate it.

Purchases

This version has no in-app purchases. If purchases are added later, this page will say what is shared to check them before that version is released.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
